-Keep your EV plugged in whenever possible
-Pre-heat your EV while plugged in for at least 20 minutes
-Expect less range and plan charging accordingly
-Leave a larger buffer, 20% +, when planning for charging stops
-Charging will be slower and take more time
-For faster DC fast charging (Supercharging) Navigate to chargers which in many EV's activates battery pre-conditioning for faster charging, or activate battery preconditioning if manual activation is required
-Battery may not be warm enough and charge will be almost nothing as the car is warming up the battery first and then starts charging
-Have a back-up charger nearby and enough charge to easily reach it
-Tesla owners with a CCS capable car, should consider getting a CCS adapter in order to take advantage of CCS chargers
-Drivers with a CCS EV need to download the Tesla app in order to locate and charge at Tesla's Magic Dock Supercharger locations or purchase a NACS adapter to charge at even more Tesla Supercharger locations
-In extreme weather conditions it is highly recommended to stay home, this applies to all types of vehicles regardless of the fuel source!
